Due to a project to complete a new north-south water transmission line on the east side of Carson City, there will be utility work in the roundabout at Fairview Drive and E. Fifth Street from January 24th through January 26th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be flagger controls and minor delays are expected. The right-turn lane from northbound Edmonds Drive to northbound Fairview Drive will also be closed. Traffic making that turn will need to turn right from the stop sign.
There will be work at the following locations as a result of the Freeway Landscaping Project. No closures are expected, but traffic control will be in effect.
·College Parkway in the vicinity of the Freeway.
·US Highway 50 in the vicinity of the Freeway.
·Northgate Lane between Jumbo Court and Dyer Court.
·Emerson Drive between Mark Way and College Parkway.
There will be work off-street due to the installation of gateway signs at the following locations. There will not be any lane closures, but please use caution.
·The north shoulder of US Highway 50 between Arrowhead Drive and Flint Road.
·The east shoulder of US Highway 395 north of Topsy Lane.
·The south shoulder of US Highway 395 west of the N. Carson Street off-ramp.
There will be minimal delays on South Sutro Terrace west of Emerson Drive due to storm system work.
Southwest Gas will be conducting utility work at the following locations:
·January 24th on Arrowhead Drive at Garnet Way. The westbound lane will be affected and there will be flagger controls with minor delays expected.
·January 25th on Hillview Drive between Koontz Land and Kingsley Lane. The southbound lane will be affected and there will be flagger controls with minor delays expected.
·January 26th on Koontz Lane at Raglan Circle. The work will be in the shoulder, but traffic controls will be in place.
