Big natural gas leak at Clear Creek and 395

12:20: Leak stopped. Permanent fix ongoing. Intersection at Clear Creek and Frontage remains closed.
A construction crew installing a new natural gas line hit an existing one sending natural gas into the air next to Western Supply. A nearby mobile home park was NOT evacuated. Crews appear to have the leak under control but not quite capped. Carson City Firefighters are on scene with an armada of engines and special equipment. Traffic is be re-routed around the break which is in the middle of the intersection of Clear Creek and Frontage directly in front of Western Supply.
